NEW ART WEST MIDLANDS

Birmingham Museums | Birmingham City University | Turning Point Visual Arts Network, 2013-2018

Rachel Bradley set up the graduates’ exhibition platform New Art West Midlands for the region’s visual arts network - TPWM directed by Wendy Law, now CVAN - in 2012.  Bradley was project lead with Birmingham Museums Trust as exhibitions organiser, selecting selectors, project manager and managing editor of publications for six editions of New Art West Midlands 2013-2018. 

Multi-sited annual exhibitions showcased work by recent graduates across regional museums and art galleries including Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, Coventry, Wolverhampton Art Gallery, MAC Birmingham, The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, Grand Union and Airspace, Stoke-on Trent.  This initiative was supported by university Art Schools: Birmingham, Coventry, Staffordshire, Wolverhampton, Worcester and Hereford College of Arts.
